Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck
    4 or 5 raw carrots
    3 or 4 medium potatoes
    1 large onion
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop carrots, potatoes and onion; set aside.
    Brown meat; drain.
    Add chopped vegetables to meat; let steam 10 to 12 minutes.
    Add Ro-Tel tomatoes, sauce and water.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Simmer until vegetables are tender.
    Serve with hot corn bread.
