Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. cooked cubed chicken
    1/4 c. sliced or slivered almonds, toasted if desired (could probably substitute toasted pecan halves)
    1 small jar or equivalent chopped pimento
    1 can sliced water chestnuts (optional)*
    1/2 c. sliced ripe olives (optional)*
    1 small jar drained mushrooms (optional)*
    1/3 c. mayonnaise
    2 tsp. mustard
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1 c. crushed potato chips
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    *Use all, any or none of the three. Personally, the water chestnuts are a must.
