Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or more c. tart apples, peeled and sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    cinnamon to taste
    nutmeg to taste
    ginger to taste
    allspice to taste
    1 pie crust, unbaked
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Toss the apples in a mixture of the sugar and spices and fold into the pie crust.
    Top with a mixture of butter, flour and brown sugar.
    Place the pie in a 450\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Then reduce the heat to 325\u00b0 and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes.
