Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. shelled raw peanuts
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
Preparation
    Mix peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt
    in a microwave bowl.
    Cook 6 to 9 minutes (until peanuts are light brown).
    Stir in margarine and vanilla.
    Cook 2 or 3 minutes longer.
    Quickly stir in baking soda until mixture is foamy.
    While foamy, pour onto greased cookie sheet to cool.
    You need to work fast to be able to spread mixture out thin.
