Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 16 slices bread, cut in squares
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    diced ham, fried bacon or sausage, crumbled
    8 to 12 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put bread on bottom of buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole dish. Let the bread touch.
    Layer meat and cheese.
    Cover with another layer of bread squares.
    Mix eggs with butter, milk and salt; pour over casserole.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
