Ingredients

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour (sift before adding)
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

Mix.
Do not refrigerate.
It is stiff enough dough already. Bake until light brown in a 325\u00b0 oven (about 8 minutes).
