Crispy Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. shortening
    9 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, adding 1 egg at a time.
    Beat on medium speed 10 to 15 minutes or until very fluffy.
    Spoon batter into 9-inch tube pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until done.
    To test, insert toothpick; it should come out clean.
