Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup crisco (melted)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 cup oatmeal
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 cup flour (with a pinch of cornstarch)
    2 cans red tart cherries (Comstock)
    3/4 cup of sugar
    red food coloring
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients and set aside.
    Drain cherries and set aside.
    Mix cherry juice with
    baking soda, flour-cornstarch mixture, sugar and food coloring. Place cherries in pan, pour juice mixture on top then top with oatmeal topping.
    Cook at 300 for 25 minutes.
