Shoo-Fly Pie(Wet Bottom) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 c. unsulphered molasses
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation
    Beat egg yolk in a small bowl. Blend in the molasses. Add the boiling water with the baking soda dissolved in it. Set aside.
