Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. sq. chocolate
    1/4 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. cream
    2 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    4 dates, chopped
Preparation
    Melt chocolate with butter in a saucepan.
    Add remaining ingredients and beat thoroughly.
    Pour into buttered pan and chill about 6 hours.
    Cut into squares.
