Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
5 egg whites
1/2 c. Crisco
5 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Beat
egg
whites
and
set
aside.
Cream
shortening, sugar, margarine, soda, vanilla
and
egg
yolks.
Add rest of ingredients except egg whites.
Beat ingredients until smooth. Fold in egg whites.
Pour in 2
round pans or 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
