Fresh Orange Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 oz. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
3 oranges
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix softened butter and
1/2
cup
sugar in a bowl; add eggs and grated rind from
1
orange.
Mix well; add flour and baking powder.
Mix well and
add juice from 1 orange and pour into well-buttered 8-inch
pie
plate.
Place
in oven at 375\u00b0 for 4 minutes;
reduce heat
and
bake
at
350\u00b0
for 25 to 30 minutes longer.
As soon as
cake is baked, put it on a plate. While still warm, pour over
it the juice of the two remaining oranges, with 1/2 cup sugar that has been dissolved.
