Beef Strips With Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    2 green peppers
    3 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 Tbsp. water or stock
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 clove garlic
    small piece ginger root
    2 medium onions
    2 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cut meat into 2-inch cubes, then slice very thin for quick cooking.
    Place in bowl; add soy sauce, sherry, garlic, sugar and ginger root.
    Then let stand for 30 minutes or longer.
    Remove stems, seeds and membranes from peppers; cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
