Cream Of Fresh Pea Soup With Corn Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. shelled fresh or frozen green peas
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    4 sprigs parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white wine
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Combine peas, water, onion, parsley and salt.
    Bring to a boil, simmer for 40 minutes.
    Puree part or all in a blender.
    Add wine, milk, butter and pepper.
    Add dumplings, simmer 10 minutes.
