Lemon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. bread (sometimes I use more)
    1 pt. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs
    1 lemon
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Heat milk. Add bread crumbs.
    When cool, add beaten egg yolks and 1/2 cup sugar.
    Bake about 1/2 hour at 375\u00b0.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and add 1/2 cup sugar and the juice of 1 lemon.
    Put meringue on top and brown.
