Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    1 small box instant pistachio pudding (dry)
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1 large container Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix dry pudding into pineapple.
    Fold in marshmallows and Cool Whip.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Chill and top with cherries, if desired.
    Serve as salad.
