Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 scant c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in buttermilk
1/3 c. buttermilk
3 c. sifted cake flour or all-purpose presifted
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. grated carrots, finely grated (about 6 or 8)
Preparation

Mix salt and cinnamon with flour.
Mix all in order, then add grated carrots.
Pour into well-greased tube pan.
Bake 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
As soon as you remove cake from oven, add icing to cake in pan, then turn out onto plate and ice rest of cake.
