Strawberry-Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed and undrained
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    3 bananas, sliced
    2 c. sour cream, divided
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water; stir in fruit.
    Pour half of jello mixture into an 8-inch pan and refrigerate until firm. Store remaining jello mixture at room temperature.
