Edith Shepherd'S Raisin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. muscat raisins
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Cook raisins, sugar, water, salt, butter and lemon juice for five minutes.
    Dissolve cornstarch in 3 tablespoons cold water. Add to raisin mixture.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Remove from fire and add lemon extract.
    Pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
    Make top of pastry arranged lattice fashion and bake 25 minutes in hot oven (425\u00b0 F.).
