White Turtle Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 c. water
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine cake mix, water, oil, eggs, and 1/2 can condensed milk.
Beat well with mixer.
Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9x13 buttered cake pan.
Bake approximately 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.
(Cake will be pulling away from sides of pan.)
Melt caramels, remaining milk and nuts.
Pour over hot cake, then add remaining 1/2 batter on top.
Spread evenly and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
