Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 carrot, chopped
    1/2 head green cabbage, shredded
    1/4 lb. lima or kidney beans
    1/4 lb. peas
    3 c. water (more if needed)
    1 to 2 chicken or vegetable bouillon cubes
    2 c. spaghetti sauce
Preparation
    Simmer vegetables in water and bouillon cubes until tender, about 12 to 15 minutes.
    Add spaghetti sauce and simmer gently 5 minutes longer.
    Makes 8 (1-cup) servings, 90 calories each.
