Autumn Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O
    1 (20 oz.) can undrained pineapple
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 c. diced apple (unpeeled)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Boil pineapple and sugar for 3 minutes.
    Add Jell-O to mix and cool.
    Add Cool Whip, apple, cream cheese, celery and pecans to mix; pour into mold and refrigerate overnight.
