Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. cooking oil
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. crushed figs
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Beat together the sugar, oil and eggs.
Combine flour with the dry spices.
Add half the flour mixture to the sugar, eggs and oil mixture; mix well.
Add figs, pecans, vanilla and remaining flour mixture.
Bake in a greased Bundt pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Do not overbake.
