Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Escort crackers
    1 whole fryer, cooked and deboned
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 carton sour cream
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 can water chestnuts (slivered)
    1 stick butter (not margarine)
Preparation
    Crumble 1/2 box of crackers in bottom of buttered casserole dish. Chip 1/2 stick butter over crumbs.
    Layer chicken, chestnuts, pimentos and sour cream on top of buttered crackers. Pour soup over mixture.
    Top with the other half box of crackers and 1/2 stick butter.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 45 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
