Pineapple Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 egg yolks
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 lb. vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Cream butter well; add sugar slowly and mix well.
    Drop in egg yolks; beat 1/2 hour.
    Add vanilla, nuts and pineapple. Arrange layer of crumbs in buttered pan, then a layer of fruit mixture and then crumbs, continuing until pan is filled.
    Top with crumbs.
    Let
    stand
    24 hours or longer in refrigerator. Serve with whipped cream.
