Lazy Way Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground chuck, browned in microwave
2 medium onions, sliced
1 large can tomato juice
1 large can V-8 juice
1 pkg. frozen Pictsweet vegetable for old fashion soup with seasoning
2 pkg. frozen Pictsweet vegetable for New Orleans gumbo with seasoning (be sure to get Pictsweet brand; the secret is in the seasoning packets)
1/2 head cabbage, sliced
3 sections garlic
2 or 3 bay leaves
salt and pepper
Preparation

Throw it all together (except for seasoning packets) in the biggest pot you can find (8-quart).
Add a cup or so of water, if there's room.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer a couple hours.
After simmering about an hour, add contents of seasoning packets and a little more water if needed.
