Vanilla Covered Strawberries - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. Hershey's vanilla milk chips (10 oz. pkg.)
    1 Tbsp. butter flavor shortening
    fresh strawberries, rinsed and patted dry
Preparation
    In medium microwave-safe bowl, place vanilla milk chips and shortening for 30 seconds; stir, stir.
    Microwave an additional 15 seconds at a time until smooth.
    Holding by top, dip 2/3 of each strawberry into vanilla mixture; shake gently to remove excess. Place on wax paper-covered tray.
    Refrigerate until coating is firm.
    Store, covered, in refrigerator.
    Makes about 3/4 cup of coating.
