Washington Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
4 c. thinly sliced apples (about 5)
Preparation

In large bowl, beat eggs at high speed until light and thick. Combine sugar and oil; beat into eggs.
Stir together flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
Add to egg mixture, along with vanilla.
Stir in nuts.
Spread apples in buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
Pour batter over apples, spreading to cover.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until top is pale golden and apples are done.
Cool. If desired, spread with Cream Cheese Icing.
