Vegetarian Chili With Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. textured vegetable protein or crumbled tofu
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes, diced or if you use whole, chop them in blender
1 can tomato sauce
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 onion, chopped
2 or 3 cloves chopped garlic
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
salt to taste or Braggs liquid aminos
2 to 3 Tbsp. olive oil
Preparation

Put textured vegetable protein or crumbled tofu in a bowl with the tomato products to soak about an hour.
Saute the onion, garlic and bell pepper in the olive oil.
Then add the TVP or tofu mixture and spices.
Simmer on low and stir often to keep from sticking and scorching (about an hour).
