White Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. white corn syrup
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients.
    Bring to boil; stir only until sugar is dissolved.
    Boil to soft ball; remove and let stand (don't stir).
    Add vanilla and beat until it loses its gloss (approximately 8 minutes).
    Pour into a greased pan to cool.
