Pennsylvania Dutch Style Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 strips bacon
    1 small onion, sliced
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 (1 lb.) can green beans
    1 hard-cooked egg, sliced
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon from skillet and crumble. Set aside.
    Drain off all but 1 tablespoon of drippings.
    Add onion and brown lightly.
    Stir in cornstarch, salt and dry mustard.
