Oven Chipped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 unpared potatoes, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. dried leaf thyme
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer potato slices in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
    Stir in grated onion, salt and pepper.
    Brush potato slices with butter mixture.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Sprinkle with parsley, thyme and shredded cheese.
    Bake 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
    Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
