Little Oatmeal Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. oatmeal
    dash of salt
    3/4 c. dark syrup
    3/4 stick margarine, melted
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. tart shells (8 count)
    pecans, optional
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients (except pecans) well.
    Pour into unbaked tart shells.
    Place one pecan on each pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 40 minutes.
    Let cool and enjoy!
    Serves 8.
