Teriyaki(Beef-Pork-Chicken-Shrimp-Choice) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 tsp. grated fresh ginger root
    2 cloves mashed garlic
    2 to 3 lb. meat or shrimp
    1 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
    1 to 2 onions, thinly sliced
    2 c. shredded lettuce (optional)
Preparation
    Combine soy sauce, sugar, oil, ginger and garlic in bowl.
    Let meat or shrimp stand in mixture for several hours.
    Line a shallow baking pan with foil and arrange meat in pan.
    Broil 4 to 5 minutes brushing once or twice with oil.
    Turn; brush with oil and sprinkle with sesame seed.
    Broil 3 to 5 minutes longer or until done.
    Serve on a bed of lettuce.
