Red-Hot Corn Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. whole kernel corn
    4 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
    4 large onions, chopped
    3 large cucumbers, peeled, seeded and chopped
    2 large green peppers, seeded and chopped
    4 c. thinly chopped cabbage
    3 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 to 2 tsp. crushed red peppers
    1 tsp. turmeric
    4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. hot pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Put in sterilized pint jars.
    Makes about 9 pints.
