Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. quick cooking oats
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk
1/2 c. melted shortening
Preparation
-
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add milk, egg and shortening, stirring only enough to moisten.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3's full.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
Makes 12 medium-sized muffins.
