Sombrero Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 c. hot salsa (may substitute medium or mild)
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans with liquid
    3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion in skillet.
    Stir in salsa, chili powder and salt.
    Mash in beans; heat thoroughly.
    Garnish with cheese.
