Sicilian Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2 c. cooked egg noodles
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion and cook until tender.
    Boil chopped green pepper until tender.
    Add tomato paste, water and salt and pepper to meat; simmer 5 minutes.
    Heat milk and cream cheese; blend well.
    Stir in green pepper, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and cooked noodles.
    In casserole, alternate layers of meat sauce and noodle mixture, ending with layer of meat sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle on remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
