Chickpea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (19 oz.) cans chickpeas, drained and rinsed
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. black olives, chopped or sliced
    1/3 c. chopped red onion
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. olive oil
Preparation
    Combine the first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
    In a small jar, shake together the vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the olive oil and shake again.
    Pour dressing over chickpea mixture and toss.
