Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. Crisco
Preparation
    Mix the cocoa and food coloring.
    Add Crisco, sugar and eggs; cream well. Sift flour and salt, adding dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
    Blend in vanilla and almond extract. In a small bowl, stir soda into vinegar and add to mixture quickly. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
