Potato Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium potatoes, peeled
1 gal. milk
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
Preparation

Boil potatoes until done.
Drain.
Add milk.
Boil slowly. Add 1/2 stick butter.
Melt in pot with potatoes; add salt and pepper last.
Add cornmeal.
Stir constantly for next 2 to 4 minutes, then simmer for about 30 minutes.
Serve warm alone or with cornbread.
