Tartar Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 Tbsp. shallots or green onions, minced
    1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped pickles
    1 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped fine
    salt and white pepper to taste
    lemon juice or wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
    1 hard-cooked egg, chopped fine
Preparation
    In a medium mixing bowl, with a wire whisk, blend the mayonnaise, parsley, shallots, chopped pickles, hard egg and green pepper.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add sufficient lemon juice or wine vinegar to thin the sauce slightly and to point up the flavors.
    Yields 1 1/2 cups.
