Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. water
    4 c. fruit
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix
    sugar,
    cornstarch and water;
    bring to a boil and continue
    for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Add fruit;
    pour in baking dish;
    dot with butter.
    Mix rest of ingredients and drop by\tspoonfuls onto hot fruit.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in 400\u00b0 heated oven.
