Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cake wax, melted in small pan
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cocktail peanuts
Preparation
    Melt wax, add peanuts, syrup and sugar.
    Cook over medium heat until candy turns golden brown.
    Add salt and baking soda, stirring in fast.
    Pour on 4 buttered plates.
    Yields approximately 10 servings.
