Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

lettuce, shredded
carrots, shredded
1 c. celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can tiny green peas
4 eggs, boiled and sliced
2 to 3 Tbsp. relish (optional)
1 c. mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar
1 jar real bacon pieces
Preparation

Layer first 8 ingredients in order given.
Then mix mayonnaise and sugar thoroughly.
Spread on top of layered vegetables.
Then sprinkle cheese and finally the bacon pieces.
Refrigerate at least several hours before serving.
