Ingredients

2 c. milk, heated until hot
3 large eggs
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of salt
Preparation

Beat eggs and sugar on high speed with mixer until thickened, then add vanilla, nutmeg and salt. Beat until blended. Gradually stir in hot milk, stirring constantly. Pour in pastry shell. Bake on lower oven rack at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Cover and chill 2 hours.
