Grandpa Lund'S Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 pt. milk
    1 pt. Four Roses whiskey
    1 oz. Jamaican rum
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks, gradually adding 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy.
    Beat whites until very stiff; add 1/4 cup sugar to beaten whites.
    Fold whites into yolks.
    Stir in milk and cream.
    Add Four Roses and rum.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Serve very cold with grated nutmeg.
