Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine bananas, sugar and shortening; mix well.
Add the eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients to banana mixture.
Grease 1 loaf pan and pour mixture in.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool on rack for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
