Vidalia Onions With Cheese Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium Vidalia onions
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    paprika
    2 hard-boiled eggs, grated
    1 c. grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    parsley
Preparation
    Peel onions; cook in boiling salt water until tender.
    Drain and cool.
    Place onions in dish.
    Set aside.
    In top of double boiler, blend butter and flour thoroughly; add liquid gradually, stirring constantly.
    Add grated cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Cover tightly and place over hot water until ready to use.
    Pour over Vidalia onions.
    Garnish with grated eggs, parsley and paprika.
    Serves 6.
