Raisin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. raisins
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. Crisco
    4 c. brown sugar
    7 c. flour
    8 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook
    raisins
    with
    sugar, water and cornstarch.
    Cook until thick.
    Remove
    from heat, then add vanilla.
    Set aside. Mix eggs, sugar and Crisco until creamy.
    Add flour, a little at a time. Add
    soda
    and salt.
    Dough will be soft.
    Drop by teaspoon and put
    1 teaspoon raisins on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Makes 8 dozen.
